La Galería Ana María Stagno. A.M.S. Marlborough presenta la muestra Cuerpo y Tierra de la artista italiana Francesca Leone, hija del cineasta Sergio Leone. La exposición se inaugurará el martes 22 de julio. Esta actividad es organizada por Il Cigno GG Edizione, y ha sido posible gracias a la gestión y colaboración la Embajada de Italia y del Instituto Italiano de Cultura. La curaduría estuvo a cargo de Giacinto Di Pietrantonio.

On august 22nd, we will open, in A.M.S Marlborough Gallery a show of the recent work of the artist Salvador Amenábar cruz.
Amenábar kees time suspended. His life in his workshop in Valparaíso hills, turns concerning the light, looks for it, finds it,loses it, and redescovers it. Also around the topic of the model, young and beautiful women in passive attitudes, reclined, on their backs, even sleping. Nudes and portraits; portraits of his only child Ramiro, still lifes.

Ya en el arte clásico el papel era un elemento que se utilizaba, para, con el lapiz, pastel, o carboncillos, crear bocetos y estudios que servían para la preparación de las obras que posteriormente tomaban formas en lienzos, esculturas o incluso arquitectura. De este modo, debemos tener en cuenta que el dibujo es la base de toda creación plastica, siendo un medio convencional para expresar la forma de un objeto por la línea, un trazo y juegos de sombra y luz.

The wood is carved with a polishing process in order to give a particular form, wich can be a concrete object or abstract.

El día martes 18 de diciembre próximo se inaugurará en Galería A.M.S Marlborough la muestra “Paisaje en Tránsito” de la artista visual chilena Carolina Barros.
Ex artista libre del Taller 99, Carolina Barros obtuvo el primer lugar en el Concurso de Pintura “ La Fruta Chilena en el Arte” ASOEX, el año 2005, y se ha destacado con reconocimientos y premios en otros concursos nacionales y de grabado internacionales.
Se expondrán 14 obras de gran formato, además de un video donde se representan grandes extensiones de espinos que luchan por sobrevivir en los límites finitos del espacio urbano.

On November 8th, A.M.S Marlborough Gallery will open an exhibit of the worldwide famous argentinian painter, sculptor, illustrator, Antonio Seguí. Seguí’s career is composed by a succession of honors,, dozens of prizes from all over the world, participation in major biennials, exhibitions in european museums, and a conspicious role in the international market place. Born in Córdova, Argentina in 1934, and resident in the parisian suburb of Arcueil since 1963, Antonio Seguí, since he was a child, displayed his artistic calling; in primary school his favorite subject was drawing.
